Diana is a privacy lawyer, litigator, and serves as outside general counsel to companies ranging from small businesses to large corporations. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Through the IAPP, Diana is a Fellow of Information Privacy, Certified Information Privacy Professional/U.S. (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Asia (CIPP/A) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). She is qualified as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) under the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and is a thought leader on Privacy and Data Security matters. Diana is a frequent speaker on privacy and cybersecurity matters, as well as diversity, inclusion, and elimination of bias. She conducts training on privacy and cybersecurity matters, and has served as an instructor on civil procedure and summary judgments. In addition, Diana has mentored countless attorneys and law student in creating the law career of their dreams!
Diana has over 25 years of experience as a business lawyer and strategist, focusing on client solutions for complex commercial litigation, regulatory and compliance issues, and federal and state administrative proceedings. She represents clients of all sizes in entertainment, media, technology, professional and financial services, real estate, insurance, retail, healthcare and other industries. Diana’s practice focuses on privacy and data security compliance, contract drafting, prelitigation, and government and regulatory actions. She also provides outside general counsel services, including drafting internal policies and procedures, contract review and negotiation. She is actively involved in all phases of case management, from intake to resolution.
Prior to founding ILC, Diana was a senior member of the privacy/data security and litigation teams at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips in Los Angeles. She began her legal career at two regional firms in Los Angeles. She graduated high school at age 16, graduated college at age 20, took a year off to tour professionally in musical theater, then obtained her law degree at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law by the age of 24. In 2015, Diana was named the "Woman of the Year" by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Greater Los Angeles for raising over $110,000 for life-saving cancer research portfolios.
Diana previously served as a volunteer temporary judge for the Los Angeles Superior Court from 2004 to 2010. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Central, Southern, Eastern and Northern District Courts of California, and has held pro hac vice admission in a number of other jurisdictions.
Diana is an avid supporter of the performing arts, a rescue/foster dog mom, and a mother and wife.

Steve is a data privacy attorney who is licensed to practice by the California State Bar and has received his credentials as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) for the US, Europe and Asia.
Steve is substantively familiar with global privacy and data security laws and their accompanying rules and regulations.
Steve advises clients ranging from startups to multinational corporations on their data management, data governance and data ethics obligations.
In this capacity, Steve:
As a part of his role as Privacy Counsel for Iketani Law Corporation, Steve also monitors and communicates about global privacy developments as well as offers presentations and training programs on privacy issues.
Steve’s current role builds upon his experience in political and election law compliance, where he started his career, and in strategic and political communications.
Steve received his BA in Politics and a Certificate in Spanish from Princeton University and his JD from Loyola Law School.
